Michael Katsidis calls out...Anthony Mundine?

He had his chance on the world scene and was convincingly
beaten by Kessler and KOd by a feather fisted Ottke.

Skills were world class, no doubt, but his heart and chin
wouldve let him down if he fought more world class fighters.

 

No wonder people want a piece of him - huge name for no reason

If Katsidis put the weight on right its not outwith the bounds of possibility he could beat him just on pure guts.

I made a thread about this yesterday. Kat is a warrior. He is kinda waiting to see what JMM is going to do since he is his mandatory. I want Marquez to go back down to lightweight and unify, that is a good division for him.

 

Katsidis must be mad, he's not even that big a LW. Gotta admire his guts.

 

Mundine is a shot fighter these days, throw in some weight drain and I see Katsidis doing to Mundine what Pac did to Oscar.

 

i fully agree.

i'm sure kats would come in under the 154 limit by a good few pounds but it wouldn't hurt him.

kats could fight one of two ways: he could just go nuts and throw bomb after bomb for the first two rounds and hope to get a quick ko, or, he could make mundine work a fair bit and drag mundine into the deeper rounds to tire him out.

but yes i also think that there is virtually no chance of this fight to actually take place.

 

I want to see Mundine VS Fernando Vargas. That would be hilarious....With a 24/7 ep too!
