Taken from a 'Best I've faced' interview at ringtv.com, he seemed to go out of his way to mention Ricky Burns, especially considering it is supposed to be for the fighter to compliment other fighters...

Best Puncher – At the elite level they all hit hard and they hit often. In comparison to a national level the average fighter’s power would be very ineffective. Though of the elite fighters I have fought I can say I was very surprised by the lack of power of Ricky Burns. Sorry Ricky, unfinished business there.

Could a rematch happen and is it a fight people want to see? :bbb

No, because Katsidis is even more shot than when Ricky fought him.

Also in the article he says Burns has the best defence.
Pointless rematch as Burns wins all day in my opinion

No it's not a good fight, outworked and out thought in there fight.
To say he doesn't punch is a bit harsh as I do remember his face being black and blue and very swollen at the press conference.
Nobody has said Ricky is the biggest puncher out there but he punches hard enough for you to know he's in front of you

He seems to fancy it though billy, 'unfinished business' as he puts it. I like the vast majority think Burns would handle him comfortably but wouldn't mind seeing it be done.

If it makes money it makes sense, and Ricky could do with a confidence booster after a few tough fights on the bounce...

Having said that, it's a pretty pointless fight for Ricky, he dominated the fight and showed he was a class above at the time.

I think both guys have slipped, although Katsidis has slipped at a far greater rate...

    :deal

Potentially a good 'comeback' fight against a name, if he doesn't rush back into the world title picture...

I remember Khan fighting the ghost of Barrera, this would be no worse!

didnt he retire though a few years back due to a neurological issue ? shadow on the brain if memory serves , great warrior but has looked a shell of hiself since the marquez fight imo that was his last big performance albeit a losing 1 , he had marquez down as heavily as ive ever seen him

Ricky Burns has absolutely nothing to gain from beating Katsidis again...

If Mitchell does not get the Vazquez fight then it would make more sense to see Mitchell Vs Katsidis II on the 31st May.
