"WHHAAATTTTTAAAA YAAAA LOOOOOOOOKINN' AT??!!?!?" A true warrior who's earned his rest from the sport. Wish him all the best.
for the best his last few fights weren't pretty. always gave his all loved his fights with mitchell, earl, czar, marquez and casa
Kat's been involved in some of the best battles that were waged over the last decade. If anyone's earned their rest- and the chance to enjoy it, it's this guy. Thanks for giving us fans a number of instant classics, mate.
I hope everything is well w/Katsidis health wise. Wish him the best post fight game. THX for the entertainment.
Katsidis HAD to have heart, because he had no ability or brains. If he had Floyd's exceptional talent and ring IQ, I'm sure he would have used it. He fought the way he did because he HAD to. You think any fighter actually LIKES to get hit you ****in ****? Calling Katsidis a "great" fighter is an insult to fighters who are actually great. The guy was a C-class fighter at BEST.
C- class fighters don't work their way into contention, and don't give fighters like Casamayor and JMM any trouble at all when they step inside the ring. The fact that Kat had both of these guys on the mat indicates that he was a little bit better than that dismissive comment that ended the last post. Kat was solidly in the "B" range at his best, in spite of the limitations that you seem hell bent on pointing out.
the guy who keeps knocking Katsidis and is trying to be too cool for the class just let him squawk he knows he's full of balogna
Actually I think a lot of people are blowing up Katsidis's accomplishments, arguably a low level fighter like Gatti accomplished more. That being said, most of the Katsidis fans are speaking about his greatness in terms of entertainment provided, not actual skill level and I can respect that, just like I respect Gatti fans (of which I am included) who miss Gatti and the excitement he brought.
we're just stateing what an exciting fighter he was you guys are trying to down play that because of your extreme love for 20 million dollar sparring sessions
