Katsidis takes too many punches in every fight, hence why i see him losing this one too. As for the one punch power, i don't think it's really up for debate to be honest. Mitchell can knock someone clean out with one shot, Katsidis can't.

Not really in his last fight which I thought was a near shut-out against a decent opponent. Certainly better than anyone Mitchell has faced.

That's one fight, i just see this as a bad style match up for Katsidis. Don't get me wrong, Katsidis is a good solid pro and i like him, i just think Mitchell is better in several key areas.

Fair enough (thought it was his latest fight and he did show considerable improvement in some areas). We'll see May 15th, I know where my money is going (to the pub and on Katsidis :D) and hope for a great fight, I dont think we'll be disappointed on that front.

Certainly not, and i can see why you're picking Katsidis for sure as he is more experienced at this level and is always competetive. I just think Mitchell has looked excellent recently and has himself made real improvements, and i think he is quicker, better technically and has more one punch power. We shall see, and i'm hoping for a great fight. Still debating whether or not to actually go.

Same. Majority of friends dont like boxing and the ones that are up for have exams. Might rake my Dad in and pull the 'I'm a uni student, I'm skint!' and get a free day :D

I think Mitchell will win a wide UD, maybe even stop Katsidis late on..

Mitchell has been getting better with every fight, has power and speed..

Mitchell really surprised me with his discipline in the Prescott fight, so i see him doing the same with Katsidis, although he says he will knock him out, i don't think he will go for an all out war with Katsidis. He will out-box him, altho if it does turn into a war, i'll be backing Mitchell to come out on top as well..

Mitchell seems to be a different class. Mitchell by wide UD.

This is a hard fight to pick, it's getting a great build up, and so it should, fans want competitive bouts, and this is one. Both are warriors in the ring, should be a great night....Katsidis by late stoppage.

The Prescott is an almost useless precedent to judge this fight IMO...Katsidas is just so much different and frankly better.

This will be a great fight...I kept swaying in my prediction for this one at first. Beating Kev at home will be hard going but Im getting behind Mick for this one.

Exactly! But everyone supporting Mitchell is using the Prescott fight to back them up and pretty much the Prescott fight only.
