Michael Katsidis Vs Joel Casamayor

I think Casamayor is at that stage in his career where he is there for the taking.

I think he will cause Katsidis some problems up until he starts getting caught regularly.

This fight will tell us more about Katsidis and where his career is heading.

 

I wouldnt mind seeing a Katsidis/Pacquiao fight it would be a freakin war.

 

Katsidis will win i feel.

Casa might be good but just Rocky's pace that he fights will Casa be able to keep Katsidis off him for 12 rounds.

If Casa was at his peak, he would befuggle Kat, hurt him, cut him up and drop him before stopping him in 10. Casa is a crafty (aka dirty) lil ****er but he has plenty of tools awel to back it all up. he gets a lot of slack on this site but I love the guy. unfortunately he isnt what he once was.

Katsidis isnt anything special but he can beat an old Casamayor.

 

People forget that Casa has a granite chin. I don't see Katsidis blasting him out. Also, Katsidis is much more available to be hit than Casa's last opponent. Also, who the hell has Katsidis fought anyway? Graham Earl?
Lastly, the rumors are that Katsidis has a lot of trouble fighting southpaws. Anyone likes to see a guy like Katsidis fight, but i think the crafty old dog Casamayor takes this one.

 

Who has Katsidis fought well a few decent opponents actually.

Ganoy who is very well ranked and he blasted him in 5 rounds,
Earl which he blasted away and pretty much ruined his career, and off course Amonsot which was bloody and Czar may never fight again from to much damage.

Also probably a few dont know this but Katsidis has been sparring for a while now with Mosley and holding his own against a big Welterweight and learning alot from the future Hall of Famer.

 

As much as I would like to see Katsidis win, my money would be on Casa. I
m surprised Katsidis is the favourite in this one.

 

If Casa is even 70% of his former self he can outbox Katsidis. But I think that he is shot so ill take Katsidis in this one

 

Nate and I will be there to watch this fight, and we're pulling for Casamayor because Nate wants to fight the winner, and Golden Boy will not allow Katsidis to fight Nate no matter what. So don't be suprised if you see Nate cheering for Joel.......lol

 

Looking forward to this one! This poll seems to be more heavily in favour of Katsidis than the last one a couple of weeks ago.

 

Casa is finished, Katsidis should win this fight no problem.

 

So pretty much everyone picking Katsidis is expecting him to knock Joel out, right? I think a Casamayor knockout and a Katsidis decision are equally unlikely.

Casa is going to be hard fight for Rocky. It actually makes me a bit nervous this fight.

I know Casa has looked crap lately but Mick cant look past him.

I think Katsidas showed against Amonsot that he has hard time figuring out southpaws who move a bit. We will have to see if he has learnt from that.fight.
