casa has been count out many times, after a poor performance against kid diamond he sent corrales to welterweight and somehow to retirement...casa has the guts,he is getting old,but he has the guts.

I like Katsidis. It makes me a tad nervous but Amonsot fought a skilled southpaw fight. Katsidis showed fantastic agression and that fight ruined Amonsot. Katsidis was so bloody, I thought it might ruin him withs cuts.

I feel that Casa might not have enough left but expect him to be in a very close contest. He'll certainly have moments but is that enough?

    tough fight ,its pickem fight.
alot of people are underestemating casa and judging him on his poor performance against cruz, thats one bad fight boys, every top fighter has a bad night and looks shat for whatever reason.

its stupid to say he is finished by one fight ,nate got smoked twice by peden then comes back at 36 and wipes his ass with babybull.

kostya has a bad night vs urkal, then smokes judah.

    delahoya vs sturm etc .

katsidis is movin up,every one said whos hatton fought b4 he smoked tszyu ,kats ended earls career ,amir picked up crumbs, thats all,if u saw the interview with earl after he fought kats,he could hardly speak.

kats was never in trouble vs earl ,it was a flash knockdown ,glove hits the canvas ,dont listen to the commentator ,kats came straight back and smashed him. i think it goes down to who wants it more on the night ,and i think it will be kats.:D

As an Aussie, I would really like to see Katsidis win. It will be the first time we've had a "lineal" champ at a weight since Kostya.

I have concerns though. Not least of which is how dirty Casamayor is - Read nearly any interview with his fights - Corrales after the second fight in particular was highly critical - Of his use of the head and other fouling tactics.

When you have a southpaw that uses his head and an orthodox guy with a propensity to bleed when he rubs a towel over his face after a shower - I think you could do worse than pick Casa to win a TKO by cuts in between 7 and 10.

Then again - Casa was flater than Paris Hilton's pre boob job chest in his last fight - He can not afford to be at that level against the pressure of Katsidis.

lets not forget casa has never been ko'd in his entire career, he gets my vote:thumbsup
and if you take a look into his career, his 3 loses were razor thin decisions. Been there with guys more power than katsidis(i.e popo, corrales, castillo)

He doesn't have to stop Casa to win.

If Casa shows up as flat as he did last fight, he'd want to hope he has the same judges that gave him a gift in that fight.

I note Nate Campbell is rooting for Casa - I don't think he wants to trade with Katsidis like he did with Diaz.

This is going to end up in a decission. Casamayor has all the experience to hang in there and avoid a K.O.

    Katsidis via close decission. :yep

I want Katsidis to win but Casa is an old veteran who knows the tricks in the book. Katsidis needs this fight to go the distance at least to have the youth advantage.
