    Burns comes forward jabbing, Katsidis ducking and sliding his feet to the side. Katsidis comes forward and drubs the body. Burns backs up to the ropes and turns his head back as Katsidis fires high with the right hand. Lots of body shots by Katsidis. Burns circles right now. Loads more body shots by Katsidis. Commentators not giving credit, saying Katsidis isn't landing - he's landing more than 80% of his body shots. Burns runs, backing to the ropes and then circling quickly to his right. Burns staying off Katsidis' range. Burns starts to land jabs. Katsidis drops a level and jabs at the body a few times. High rights by Katsidis blocked. Katsidis looks like a little white Tyson, using a high guard and head movement as he presses in tightly coiled and ready to bomb away on the inside. Burns stays behind the jab, keeping distance. Katsidis charges him to the ropes and lands a few to the body but can't get through up top. Burns keeps Katsidis at the end of his jab. Good 1-2 by Burns. Left hook to the hip by Burns.

    10-9 Burns but CLOSE

    Pretty good first round. Close. Katsidis was throwing and pressing, Burns did a solid job boxing and countering with that right hand.
