    Burns backs up to the ropes and lands a nice counter uppercut that crunches into Katsidis' nose from the bottom but doesn't slow him down. Katsidis wings his arms furiously at Burns, mostly getting blocked but getting a few in. Again Burns' glove needs tape. Time in. Burns jabs. Katsidis jabs the body and lands a BIG left hook to turn Burns' face sharply!! Big flurry by Katsidis, pushing Burns into the ropes. Clinch. Burns is carried across the ring, Katsidis infighting with uppercuts. They separate, and Burns lands a BIG uppercut from outside. Ripping rights to the body by Katsidis. 1-2 to the chin by Katsidis! Uppercut by Burns. Tie up. Uppercut by Burns! Crowd roars! BODY SHOTS AND STRAIGHT SHOTS to the face by Katsidis. Burns jabs and backs up. Big sweeping hook by Katsidis, misses. Flurry up top, Katsidis getting blocked. Burns hooks the body. Jabs by Burns off the back foot, but he has to tie up every few steps as Katsidis charges in. Katsidis is absolutely slamming away with solid lefts and rights. Long right hand to the body by Burns, lands with a loud thud. Katsidis buries his face behind his gloves and blocks a Burns clubbing right.

    Close round, but Kats is picking up the pace caught Burns with two lefts that the announcers ignored and was starting to break through his guard when he laid on the ropes covering up. Burns had a nice body shot and some nice uppercuts, but not enough consistant action for me to give him the round.
