hahaha. Thats scary. That is why I stay well away from the classical section. On a side note, I don't know if its just me, but hypothetical match ups that will never ever take place between retired fighters are always the stupidest. There is never any way one side can convince the other that their arguement is correct, and it is about as fun as banging your head against a brick wall. Not to mention that people always dramtically over rate the fighting prowess of the olden day fighters.

I totally agree with all you just said - therefore I never post in the classical forums, and very rarely in the hypothetical threads and as you say, fighters of the past are so legendary in peoples minds - probably simply because there is no way to prove it wrong, since they don't fight anymore.

And I bet that most people thinks that if they approve of fighters of yesteryears, then they are knowledgable of boxing.

hahaha, how the **** do you know? Kats has fought Graham Earl and some Filipino. We`ll see if/when he steps it up.

    Hatton whould brutalise Katsidis.

Urango isn't much and hadn't beaten anyone, and I wouldn't say he "brutalized" him.

The last bit of your post is gospel. My exact thoughts. Glad to see that someone else is on the same wavelength.

I never said he could beat Hatton. Just think it would be a great fight and a bloody war. Hatton would win but the power of kat would make it interesting, and I know he would get the chance with a fighter like Hatton to land more then his fair share of punches.

all i will say is Katsidis lined up a fight with a Prime Joan Guzman and Guzman pulled out.
and there are huge talks going on between Juan Diaz and Katsidis for a fight after Juan Diaz vs Julio Diaz. Now to me that is not backing away from anyone. and those two fighters right there are Prime guys.

Im not saying Katsidis would win but there is one thing he has and Ricky hasnt got Balls. and Rocky has massive ones.
You have to remember it wasnt him that pulled out of the Guzman fight.

Very good action packed fight, not too good for Katsidis since Hatton will knock him out within 6 rounds.
