Michael Koncz: "Manny is afraid of needles"

I've come to the conclusion that these diehard Floyd fans care more about what Floyd wants, rather than the actual fight going down. They're like sheep. What ever Floyd says they go with. When Floyd offered a 14-day cutoff, they were fine with it. "14 days is good. Pac should accept it". The minute Floyd took the offer off the table and said no cutoff date, all of a sudden a 14 day cutoff is no longer good enough. Like I said....They only want what Floyd wants.

In round one of the negotiations, a 50-50 split was perfectly fine. Then in the next round, Floyd's the bigger draw and no way should 50-50 be acceptable.

 

Also, I keep reading how if olympic athletes have no problem with these tests, then Manny shouldn't either. I'm confused as to what the exact procedure is for testing these athletes. Is it a mixture of urine and blood? Is there a time frame?

I know olympic athletes are tested year round instead of just the 8 weeks leading up to a fight. So according to the OSDT standards, Floyd isnt even abiding by it.

 

That's what I was thinking. Michigan mentions NFL players having no complaints about the tests, but their's are stretched over 12 months too, right? Their training regimes are very different, also. They're not undergoing an intense 8-week programme in which they'll be tested in.

The same would go for olympic athletes, right? They have their out-of-competition testing and in-competition testing. How rigorous are the testing procedures in those two? Do they both include blood and urine?

Someone pointed out to him it required to for him to be available for random testing for nine months before competing . Not Retired . Now he just asks for random testing. Bull****. Mayweather has never been over the WW for a WW fight. That penalty was in no way warranted. Regardless, Mayweather accepted it anyway. Furthermore, Manny is the one who claims "I do what the commission says". Well the commission already have their own weight penalty standars and their own weight limits. Manny has no problem gong above and beyond those standards to get what he wants. What's wrong with Mayweather going above and beyond the commission testing standards?

 

It's pretty obvious that Koncz said that Manny agreed to the 14 day cutoff, and hasnt agreed to go over that.

And Manny is afarid of needles.

Of course he said "in the past" as all negotiations took place "in the past". Both fighters are fighting other people. There are no current negotiations.

And Koncz clearly said that Manny has NOT agreed to any testing under 14 days, and said he would "have to speak to him about that".

This is consistent with what Team Mayweather has said over and over. "Manny hasnt agreed to 100% random, no cutoff testing."

I dont even see where there could be an argument.

 

See this is where it all connects.
Manny is not the genius that you all make him out to be. This is actually laughable since any person who grew up in the same country that Manny did knows that this is common sense.
I'm pretty sure Manny has no problems in agreeing to all of the demands BUT his advisers, the people who are actually better at strategy will still have the final say.
Filipinos do share the same machismo culture to Latinos, you know. It's not in Manny to bail out of a fight out of "fear".

 

I agree it is Koncz and (mainly) Arum that dont want this to happen. But if Manny really wants the fight, he can tell them to get it done (unless they have some provision where he CANT decide who he fights).

But all this talk of Floyd ducking Manny after Manny having agreed to the full random testing is BS. Koncz has now confirmed that they have not agreed to the 100% full random testing.

Maybe this will change, but it is what it is. They havent agrred to the testing, and the fight has not happened. Period.
