lmao. was marquez getting smashed in the face part of his study too?

marquez has been hitting pac with similar shot before and pac took them.

pac and marquez feet tangled when pac went for the kill. he lost focus momentarily and brace for a fall or clinch with marquez thats why he wasnt able to toughen his chin.

thats not going to happen again.

i mean if it is so easy, why not take the fight for 2x the money vs. bradley.

thats not to say marquez has no chance. fight will always be 50/50 at whatever the weightclass they fight.

This ducking by jmm is all on dapidran. He should have moved on after the 3rd fight and looked for other challenges.

First off, the third fight was no robbery. There were plenty of respected people who scored that fight on both sides. It was controversial but not a robbery. The first fight was a robbery if any of them were because one judge actually scored a round incorrectly which caused the draw. Personally I only call a fight a robbery if its wrong on like 80 percent or more of the media/analyst/experts/viewers score cards. Not because I favor a particular fighter or his heritage like most of ESB.

Second, Marquez proved he has the best style to fight Pac, but he certainly hasn't proven he is the better all around fighter. When looking at total body of work, common opponents, and comparing resumes, its actually far more clear that Manny is the better over all fighter.

If JMM feels it's time to retire, all the best to him. He is a warrior and he earned it. If he however keeps fighting other guys for less money, then its safe to assume he isn't confident in repeating his 4th fight KO where he was losing on the score cards and was himself in big trouble before that punch landed.

These guys will always put on a good fight and I'll always be more than happy to watch them go at it. I think a lot of JMM fans are scared of the risks of a 5th fight and I don't blame them. I can't see any other legit reason for a boxing fan to not want to see a 5th fight unless these guys can come up with better opponents than each other which seems doubtful right now.

Seriously man? his feet got tangled? Not even Roach & Pac use this excuse, Pac was in the ring him self & knows what the problem is. From Pac's own mouth " I got wreckless" it is what it is man, accept defeat & move on.

Pac has always fought wreckless & has always worked to his advantage, JMM always gives him problems because he is a elite counter puncher.

Was Marquez getting his face "smashed" as you say ? Yes but as Pac was he was trying to end the fight. Take one to land one was the game that night. What makes you think Pac will fight the same way again? Even roach said (for the 3rd time) that they underestimated JMM & even Roach said JMM is pacs kryptonite, what about the knockdown in round 3?, what about the monster right that JMM landed in the round he was knocked down right after he got up & buckled pac? was that also "luck" . Pac took his fair share of punishment prior to the KO. Its not like he put on a Floyd type performance.

Marquez does not have to take the fight, he does not have his bank accounts frozen like pac does, he is in a postion to make his own choices & does not have to agree to everything Arum says like Pac.

Marquez will be what, 41 if he should fight Pac again? If Pac can't beat a 41 year old that's sad.

Literally nothing else to gain for Juan from fighting Pac again. Going out from one-shotting Pac is literally the highest note he could possibly end the series on. At best, he wins again, but if he loses, it's easier to call the fourth fight a fluke and Pac ends the series with the W.

However, that Pac fought JMM four times in the first place means that people calling Pac a cherrypicker have no clue what they're talking about, because Juan is and always has been a terrible style matchup for Pacquiao.

jmm knew in his heart he got lucky. simple.

marquez will not expose him self to another robbery, he knows arum is desperate to rebuild pacs name... he already sacrificed his boxing skills in order to get the KO and received a lot of punishment, but he knew that outboxing pac wasnt going to get him a win ever... that hasnt changed...
