In fairness, he has nothing to gain from promoting Tua, at the expense of Foreman.

If he was bigging up somebody who he beat at their expense, then you would be more suspicious.

I think that we should at least listen to him here.

For 1 punch, I’ve got no problem anyone saying Tua hit harder, overall I think Foreman was heavier handed but for 1 punch for me it’s Tua with that left hook

Foreman hit harder overall, but the shot Tua KOed Moorer with was a lot harder than the shot Foreman KOed Moorer with

Tua had speed on his side prime, I think for me that’s the difference. Tua could take them out with one punch cause of it, whereas as foreman was slower and tended to pound them more not having the speed to disguise a shot

Moorer was KOd by both men so I'll take his word for it over any of the armchair quarterbacks on this forum that never laced up a day in their life

Yeah his trainers literally couldn't even hold the bag still in spite of the fact he threw slow, single heavy shots one at a time. And the way the bag had a giant dent when he was done shows just how dense his bones were and his extremely heavy handed clubbing.

I had a buddy who used to do farm work and drank horse milk and his bones were extremely durable and robust. We were rough housing and I hit him in the shoulder and it felt like a brick wall. I'm guessing George has a similar bone structure.

Mick was slept savagely by an arm punch by 45 year old Foreman. . Tua was young , had speed and hit Mick with full force.

Foreman hit harder. Imagine if he hit Mick with a full force baseball swing.

I’d much rather get hit with the shot Foreman landed on Moorer than the one Tua did.

Does it really matter? We know that both hit on an upper elite level, far harder than is necessary to turn a man's lights out. Pure, unadulturated power is not the most important factor in winning or even stopping an opponent. It's harnessing that power thru timing and setting up your punches that is how the game is won.

I believe that same poster quoted above, who had sparred with Wlad, David and old George, once compared these power discussions to d*ck measuring contests. In this case, it's two prize steeds... more than enough to get the job done.

Far more interesting to me are some of the techniques George used in his older days in order to get the Sunday punch set up...

Exactly, it's honestly a silly discussion. In both fights Moorer laid across the canvas looking like he got shot and barely moved a muscle.
