Better still, what opponents at 175 did Moorer prove his punching power against that were better than those Jones did?

 

Roy Jones is just gonna circle away from moorers right as moorer relied on his right hand ALOT and because of the way of how southpaws and conventionals stand to each other it would be very easy for roy to circle away from the right. Against a left handed southpaw that could get jones caught by the left, which eventually did happen, but moorers a rightie which makes his left nearly a nonfactor, similarily to oscar and cottos right hand.

Oh please. Every common opponent (and there were heaps of them) said that Shavers hit harder than Foreman, sometimes by plenty. Some of these were great and/or extremely notable fighters. One was the GOAT heavyweight.

The bottom line is Moorer never did crap at 175. Now potentially he was who knows what. Power wise he certainly hit extremely hard and again, was who knows what. We KNOW Jones hit damn hard at 175 and have plenty of proof.

Moorer may have been among the top few hitters ever at 175 but he sure didn't prove it so we have jack shyte to go on.
