What do you think about this move by Wild Card Gym? You think Moorer, who was schooled under such big names as Steward at Kronk and Teddy Atlas when he laced them up in the ring as heavyweight champion of the world, will find success as a cornerman?
Well he did predict Allan Green was going to get his head taken off by Donny McCrary so there is potential there.
Moorer deserves a place in a corner...He was a very good technical fighter and i think he could have a good input as a cornerman!
From what I've heard Atlas actually brought some much needed stability in Moorer's life, and Michael seems to acknowledge that. Teddy even kept him from blowing his head away once... and the reason he was so good technically was because Teddy was pounding those fundamentals in his head every day in the gym. Atlas made him a great fighter, let's see if Roach can take him to the next level and make him a great trainer.
