Prime for prime? Or both around the late 80s early 90s when Moorer was a light heavyweight? Cuz I actually would say that Williams was too experienced and too tough for Moorer. Williams by decision of late RTD.

Williams underrated. Moorer overrated. Williams outworks and oulasts Moorer for a late rounds stoppage.

That's certainly what I think. Maybe Moorer puts him down a couple times early on, but gradually gets beat.

I think Williams is too hittable for Moorer. He'd apply endless pressure and probably be up on points, but being hit by a guy so much bigger who can punch like Moorer can ain't advised. I think Mike stops him late.

I'm shocked that Moorer gets so little respect for his 175 work and presence. I thought he was an absolute destroyer at that weight and would be a tough match for any light heavy ever. Charles Williams got outboxed and outworked by James Salerno- that decision was absolutely a rank fix, and I'm trying to envision Moorer being in with him or Williams and not bludgeoning either one to death. Rewatching Moorer's title defenses, more often than not, it was like watching Popeye sending Bluto into the air after quaffing spinach. Frightening intensity and power. Guys only lasted rounds if they clutched, ducked and held.
