Who wins this match up between two physical bangers at 175. I think the edge in power goes to MM but Michalczewski strikes me as the more durable and well conditioned man.
I think Moorer bombs him out. Too strong, too explosive and hits too hard. Dariusz could out-box him cleanly though, Moorer's workrate was awfully low at 175, and he seemed very reluctant to use his legs. I don't think the weight drain was worth it, but he did have awesome speed and power, from weird angles with good technique. I think he'd win this one, but it's a good, close match up.
DM was more accomplished at 175, and maybe you could even argue better at 175, but given his leaky D the odds are not in his favor here. Moorer by late KO while behind on the cards.
Michael Moorer by KO inside 6.He is the sharper, quicker puncher and better insight fighter. I think Dariusz resume suggests that he is better than he really was.Hill was not at his best, Griffin was leading on points and the stoppage was premature, he should have lost against Graciano, a lot of his opponents were called in on relative short notice and did not have enough preparation time, the Hall stoppage. He also did get best by Gonzales and destroyed later on by Tiozzo who I think was around his age
If DM’s chin can withstand the first few rounds I think he wins. Moorer was very raw and untested at light heavy. A declining Leslie Stewart was schooling him until Moorer caught him in the 8th.
175 was the weight class not the height. MM was 6'2 and Michelcheski was just under 6'1. I wasn't listing the height by CM but by ft and inches.
bout becomes a matter of attrition and conditioning the 2nd half of the fight. At lh, MM gives up a big edge to this guy. and trying to deal with the accuracy and precision punches Dariusz threw. tko9 in an entertaining bout.
You are commenting everything from a fan's perspective. Here are some more reasonable and objective observations: Gonzales beat Dariusz clearly. No robbery there. The Griffin stoppage was premature, maybe the referee felt the need to step in because Griffin was winning the fight up to that point. Prince and Barber were good fighters, I agree. Tiozzo destroyed him, I do not think activity had much to do it. Do you acknowldege Dariusz was doing a playing act in Rocky? But I do think that Dariusz improved under the Sdunek after that fight
Listen stupid ****. This is an English speaking forum! It not my fault you don't understand that 175 pounds is lightheavyweight! Go find some boxing fans in whatever pig **** part the world you are from and argue with them in your own dip **** language.
No **** sherlock. I know that not all fighters at lightheavyweight fight at exactly 175. It's the weight limit.
