Sitting here watching Moorer vs Cooper and it got me to wondering how Moorer would do vs Big Daddy Bowe?

I’m going to favor Bowe to win by KO or TKO but I think this could be competitive

Moorer might rock Bowe to his heels

    Helluva fight!!

This was probably my favorite fight pitting my favorite up and comers on the heavyweight scene that never materialized. Obviously Bowe-Lewis was the big one but this fight would've been a seesaw type battle for sure.

Moorer had massive power and like you noted above he could rock Bowe to his heels. I just envision Bowe doing what Cooper and Stewart couldn't and finish Moorer off somewhere in the 9th round in a Fight of the Year for 1993!!!

Probably. Moorer had power and precision. I’m sure he’d land his fair share of blows. In the end I think Bowe could take it better than Michael and could dish it out just as much

If Moorer fought his best fight ever, he gets stopped late. Anything less, and, he doesn't even make it to round 6. In fact, a first or second round knockout loss for Moorer is not out of the question.

I agree. The best version of Moorer would give Bowe hell and make it a rough competitive fight, but he likely ends up losing in the end. Moorer was a sharp, aggressive, accurate fighter who threw strong combinations--all ingredients that could give Bowe problems due to his leaky defense and his own come forward style. Moorer could win maybe 3-4 rounds before getting stopped around the 10-11th.

Anything less than the best version of Moorer gets the absolute crap beat out him by Bowe.

Moorer was a bang average heavy who caught lightening in a bottle because Holy was suffering from heart attack and organ failure. Bowe gets overrated, but he was light years ahead. No style analysis needed...the level was that much higher.

Agreeing with the consensus here. Moorer at his best
could make it a dog fight early on, especially since
he was a power hitting South paw, which was
rare at heavyweight in those days.
I'm sure Bowe would have issues with the
    south paw stance early on.
But with his better overall skills and physicality
he'd make the necessary adjustments and
grind Moorer down for a mid fight ko,
    between 7 and 9 rds...

I'm gonna say Bowe actually gets him out early. Riddick wouldn't want a chance of a long fight and storm out from the first bell.
Moorer gets drilled within minutes and is lucky to see the third.
