    I'm thinking around late 1993.

Moorer went 4-0 (2) in '92 including a win over Bert Cooper KO5. In '93 he beat Bonecrusher Smith W10 and Frankie Swindell KO3. He would go on to win a MD over Holyfield for the HW Title then lose it to George Foreman LKOby10.

Morrison went 4-0 (4) in '92 including wins over Jerry Halstead KO5 and Joe Hipp KO9. In '93 he beat Carl "The Truth" Williams KO8 and George Foreman W12. Morrison would go on to beat Tim Tomashek KO4 then lose to Michael Bentt LKOby1.

Height and reach was about the same, weight was close but Morrison had the more solid build and was stronger IMO. Morrison also punched harder. Chin? Neither had a chin to be proud of but both showed heart from time to time... Morrison more so IMO.

Moorer was the better overall boxer but at times could be lazy. Morrison was always ready to let his hands go.

Let the guy rest in peace. Why would you post a fantasy matchup thread about him just a few hours after he left. Let him have his peace

Relax dude! Nobody is being disrespectful. He was a fighter, a fan favorite, a good ol boy with a huge punch. People like talking about what could have been when it comes to Morrison... what better way could we possibly honor him... on a boxing forum? I didnt know the man, so Im not really tore up over it, but in no way am I being disrespectful.

I think Moorer outboxes him for 7 rounds, then Morrison KO's him in the 8th.

    Fun match-up.

Morrison shatters Moorer's glass jaw, just like Foreman did. Although, not without hitting the deck himself, quite likely.

I see a Moorer-Bert Cooper style slugfest here, with Moorer on the short end of the stick this time.

Michael Moorer beats him. He was a better fighter.

They both had vunerable chins. Moorer had better stamina but also was more of a boxer/puncher. MM fought at a much more measured pace.

I think Morrison decks Moorer twice in the early rounds but Moorer climbs off the canvas and survives and starts to pick apart a quickly tiring Morrison.
