Tubbs would win at his best. He was too mobile and his hands were faster than Moorer's. Both had excellent boxing skills, but Tubbs had more intangibles.

Has close decision written all over it in my opinion. Two somewhat lazy workers, one with exceptional handspeed and craftiness, the other a solid southpaw puncher with middling boxing skill. Could depend largely on the judges, or which of the two fighters has the better night.

Tubbs at his best handles Moorer.Problem is, that's less than 3% of the time.Moorer probably outworks Tony for a UD.

Did Tubbs face any southpaws during his career? Good ones anyway. :think

How many good heavyweight southpaws were there? :). Moorer was the first to win a title.
