Awesome fight no matter who wins. I can see Moorer either winning a decision or Tucker stopping him late

MM takes that jab away from Tucker and wins a decision.

Moorer. Tucker was actually a disappointment for me

The two of them were often lackadaisical so it could go either way by decision.

On one hand, Moorer had more power (at least pound for pound) and his southpaw stance + jab could have been tricky for Tucker. He could also throw fast combos at midrange and didn't lack heart. But he wasn't the most elusive and he was often knocked down during his big fights.

On the other hand, Tucker had the height and reach advantage, fast hands (when he let them go), good chin, very good footwork and could fluidly mix head and bodyshots. But I don't see him setting the pace of the fight and discouraging Moorer with his power.

    Very close fight.

Tucker knocks him out. He landed on everyone. Moorer wouldn’t be able to take that at all.

Stopped once in his first forty five fights Norris? Is that who you’re talking about?

To be fair, he was on first gear mode against Norris.

Yeah, stopped in 8 by Bert Cooper. I wonder who else fought Cooper?

Yeah, but if Tucker "landed on everyone", and Moorer apparently wouldn't be able to take it, then what does his gear matter?

The problem is that boxing just doesn’t work how you want it to. Norris was slippery and had a better chin than Moorer.

Let's not forget that Norris didn't fight half the amount of dangerous punchers that Moorer did. Only other guy that Orlin fought that could even SLIGHTLY apply to that was Jesse Ferguson- Who wasn't exactly the hardest customer to fool, let alone Bert damn Cooper! These men could slug, but Norris does NOT have even a slight bit of the same chin as the man who went head to head with men like Alex Stewart, the aforementioned Cooper, James Smith, and Evander Holyfield without getting knocked out! The problem is that boxing just doesn't work how you want it to.
