Where's the Nunn by wide Unanimous Decision option?

Prime Nunn would have toyed with GGG with ease. However, if we’re talking about the Nunn that gave lackadaisical performances prior to Toney then I can see GGG putting up a good fight and outpointing Nunn.

Nunn doesn't have the tank or the chin to last with Golovkin in my opinion.

Nobody toys with Golovkin. There isn't a middle in history that Golovkin could not be competitive with. Golovkin is undefeated. I don't want to hear about his competition. He beat everyone he fought. We tend to say yeah!, but what about Robinson, Hagler and Monzon. They were great fighters, all from different time frames but justifiably considered great middles. The point is, they all suffered losses or poor outings against guys GGG figured to beat. Example: GGG beats Basilio he beats Leonard and some of the guys that beat Monzon.

Trust me on this, neither Robinson, Hagler nor Monzon were thought of as highly as they are now. There is this tendency to make past fighters even greater than they were. When we see highlights, we see them at their very best and it impacts our perception of them. In time, like a couple of years after GGG is retired, we will start hearing a broader acceptance of the greatness of GGG.

As for Nunn, GGG figures to win that fight.

Golovkin just like kovalev is one of the most overrated jokes ever, this guy did not beat anybody relevant, his hitting power is OVERRATED LIKE HELL if you check the most of his kos he has to hit again and again and again to get tkos and the kos against pure garbage, he could not ko a natural 154 guy . and still he is compared with great and very good proved mws

Intriguing matchup. Once would’ve picked Nunn by blowout but I’m starting to think that prime Golovkin from a few years back would have caught him and hurt him late. Could see either outcome really.

My thought exactly. Also, Nunn was overrated from Day One.

What did Donald Curry ever do as a pro middle? That Barkley who had just been beaten by an old lightweight? Kalambay and Tate were nice wins, I agree. But back when Nunn was coming out you would have thought it was Ray Leonard and Robinson combined. So much hype. I screamed like a little girl when he got poleaxed by Toney.

Nunn v GGG would be a competitive action bout, with GGG forcing the work and outlasting and outblasting, taking a decision.
