Or GGG was overrated. When he stepped up the competiton against Canelo and Jacob, you saw what happened.

Toss a coin. Nunn never improved as a fighter (perhaps even regressed) but early on he had plenty to give Golovkin fits. Notable height advantage, massive reach advantage over GGG at 70" and plenty faster. It's a Nunn decision or GGG late.

Golovkin couldn't land his right hand on Canelo when producing a poor mans Nunn effort in fight #1.

Nunn could do what Canelo did only better. Golovkin found success when Canelo slowed down and took breathers. If Canelo had good stamina and high work-rate , he would've dominated Triple G.
Imo Nunn can do better than Canelo / Jacobs and would win on points

Blow out? GGG has a better chin than anyone Nunn fought and certainly better than anyone that went the distance with Nunn, he also has a far better KO ratio than Nunn.

Nunn couldn`t punch as hard as Canelo.

GGG is better in every departmant than Nunn was other than speed, Nunn`s fundamentals were not world class, all he had was speed like Amir Khan, he was vastly overrated.

I once thought that Golovkin was way too stiff too deal with Nunn’s fighting style and movement (assuming Nunn fought the right fight).

He`d cut the ring off Nunn and kill his body, his jab would have been too much for Nunn.

His jab is too slow to dominate Nunn with, assuming Nunn is at Nunn’s best. He’d have a hard time cutting off the ring too. Nunn’s footwork and elusiveness were crazy. Mix that in with a high skill level, and the fact that he’s a southpaw with a huge reach advantage, and Golovkin might find himself punching air even more than he did against Canelo.

I picked GGG by stoppage, but the truth is that you can make good arguments for both fighters, as you in most case can when they're at this level. You can look at Nunn vs Barkley and Toney and conclude that Nunn took way too much time off during a 12 rounder against opponents that kept him under decent pressure, or you can look at GGG vs Jacobs and Canelo and say that he had trouble at landing clean with consistency against opponents with good boxing skills and/or big reach and height.

Fair enough.I just feel that GGG is a bit too mechinical to get the KO.Nunn in his prime had great radar and movement
