Golovkin doesn't take anyone apart on the inside. He's a mid-range banger that barely does anything of consequence on the inside against anyone.

My initial post was cogent and topical while encapsulating most peoples motivations. Sorry if it escaped you!

You guys really do a lot to encourage constructive conversation about boxing huh?

Obvious GGG doesn't fight on the inside. I'm saying it was a bad habit of Nunn's and that the shorter man with better punching ability has the advantage there. Just an opinion

How does one have such a devastating body attack without any inside game?

Opinions are fine but when they border on hyperbole, many regulars lose their zeal for constructive debate.

Your thoughts on Nunn/GGG are fair enough but I still vividly recall a prime Nunn having some real stinker performances. The Iran Barklay fight was a prime example. A guy like GGG with his command of distance and ability to change the timing on his attacks would have presented Nunn with serious issues.

Roy Levesta Jones Jr. (no Gs :-()

    Lost to

    Amateurs

    Gerald ''The G-Man'' McClellan

    Antonio ''The Magic Man'' Tarver
    Glengoffe ''Gentleman'' Johnson
    Joe ''The Italian Dragon'' Calzaghe
    Danny ''The Green Machine'' Green

Look at how many loses he incurred against fighters whose names feature the letter G. And you huggers actually think he'd beat Triple G? :patsch :rofl

ggg has made you a good boy by removing your brain so that you think letters contribute to wins in boxing.

Golovkin losing to Gaydarbek Gaydarbekov only lends weight to my G theory. :patsch

Having a G as the initial letter of one of your names is extremely powerful, much more so than it featuring at a later stage in them. Gaydarbekov obviously has one at both the beginning of his first and last names. This is extremely rare phenomenon indeed and it's obviously what made him such a formidable adversary.

And anyone who has actually seen that fight will be keenly aware of the fact that the only reason he was able to emerge victorious was because he utilised the illegal G tactic of excessive Grabbing. Gaydarbekov knew Golovkin had that extra G over him going into the fight so he decided to take matters into his own hands to try and even things up by utilising the G tactic of excessive Grabbing. So it was actually Triple G vs Triple G :deal

It is very clear this is why he stayed well away from the G Man in the pros.:rofl:deal

Roy probably wakes up screaming in the middle of the night when he dreams about the letter G.:yep:lol:
