He lost every round until nunn wilted I said, once he tired he let Toney in to the fight, he got caught more and couldn’t avoid Toney any longer, your scorecard is about right, although they had it a clean sweep the first 7-8 on the cards, the final 3-4 Toney come on. It was competitive obviously but nunn swept the rounds while fresh.
You see him from time to time TBF. But nah, there was a 100 page war on classic of GGG vs Toney But he didn't lose every round until Nunn wilted. Some of his rounds came early, some mid but leading up to the stoppage. There was no stage of the fight which Nunn conclusively swept. Nunn didn't let Toney into the fight, Toney broke him down. As a GGG fanboy, I shouldn't have to tell you that the judges' scorecards aren't always right. Toney's bodywork was effective the whole fight. Which culminated in the stoppage. It's also why I aired on the side of GGG to win by stoppage here. Here was my card for the Nunn-Toney. https://www.boxingforum24.com/goto/post?id=20892091#post-20892091
Yeah I didn't give Toney a lot of rounds either. Nunn blew himself out. Other guys will tell you it was Toney's bodypunching. Frankly I think Golovkin makes his opponents work harder than Toney and I think his bodywork is as good or better. Not good for Nunn either way.
unfortunately we have to go with the official cards, he swept 7 on the trott maybe 8..Your saying “ Nunn didn’t let Toney in to the fight” that’s what I’m saying George
The longer this thread goes the more I think that Nunn is tailor made for G lol Yeah you saying he makes his opponents work harder is spot on, he also had a noticeable or had in his prime, a blatant second wind where the true damage was done
You are so intellectually challenged and a crap amateur boxer who spars with girls. Go back to bed son and shut up when big boys are talking.
Why Lil G is so overrated is beyond me. The way some people talk you would think he was better than Sugar Ray Robinson.
