And duck what you wrote I answered you ..Like. I said you proved my point !

Joe was dropped by the likes of Kabary Salem who only had 12 knockouts ! That's like getting floored by Pauli Malinaggi !

Devalle had better power and was RJJ's sparring partner so please lets not compare !

Coke problems for both. But talent problem for Nunn.

Calzaghe too good, with healthy hands, Joe stops him.

    Nunn with a talent problem?:lol::rofl:lol::rofl

The general forum never ceases to amaze.

Nunn was FAR more talented than Slappy Joe, and anybody who REALLY knows the game would tell you as much.

Nunn in 89 was considered the P4P #2 fighter in the world behind Tyson. Pretty impressive considering this was at a time when Chavez, Whitaker, and Mel Taylor were all in their primes.

But I'm SURE you don't know enough about boxing to know that.

Nunn's dismantling of Frank Tate is more impressive than any of Slappy Joe's performances.

I agree, although with not as much conviction as you.

What a waste of talent Nunn was.

He was fast, tall and had a famous trainer. That's about it.

He couldn't punch at all. He's chin was highly questionable.

    Calzaghe was a complete fighter.
BTW those P4P rating are a joke.

Calzaghe never legitimately beat a fighter who was elite at the time of their match. Nunn UD easy

Calzaghe beat Jones. Toney was fat and couldn't make weight. Nunn had a paper chin.

Who is the Greatest SMW of all time? Calzaghe.:deal

Slappy HEAD BUTTED Jones and Jones was blinded by blood for the entire fight.
Toney at middleweight would have whipped and knocked out Slappy's ****** ass.
Nunn at MW would have whipped and knocked out prime Calzaghe's ****** ass.

Slappy ducked all these fighters when they were in their primes and stayed in England fighting even worst bums than Sturm in Germany.:yep

Lacy is the biggest hype job with no elite wins. A shot RJJ finished him.

    Kessler elite? Nice try.

Hopkins was not legitimate. 1000 air punches per round do not win fights.

Bottom line is Michael Nunn had real skills and was a real champion.
His down fall is when he met Toney the beast in the ring and got caught with that monster left hook.
That Toney left hook was the same reason why Eubank and Calzaghe ducked all the best fighters of the era.

Not sure how a fighter with over half of his wins as a KO cant punch a bit, still you have as predicted painted yourself into when you consider once again that Calzaghe was not on wobbly legs and having to hold to survive, whilst Jones when put down by Del Valle was on wobbly legs and having to hold.

If you think that guy can punch than you must think Winky Wright hits as hard as Tyson!

And like I told you before Devalle had power genius unlike Salem!

That cut didn't happen until the 7th round. And Joe only lost the first round

Also the cut was from a left hand, not a headbutt. Even the HBO replays show it in slowmo.

Toney would and could never beat Calzaghe at any weight, even Heavyweight.

And talking about fighting shot fights. Holyfield? Calzaghe would of shut out the same Holyfield that Toney did. :deal
