    Calzaghe.

He can throw a lot of punches and land a lot of them.

Prime Nunn wins this one points. Nunn can do everything JC can, just a little better. JC had the better career though, nunn was the more talented boxer.

When Nunn starched Kalambay with one punch, it looked like he was on his way to ATG status, as he had realy shown that he could do it all.

Then there were the boring tactical decisions, the carefully picked opponents, the failure to knock out Starling, and the loss to Toney.

Still, you are right. He had the ability.

Nunn is a terrific skilled fighter like Calzaghe super movement range + hes a shouthpaw as well. Calzaghe doesnt have Toney's power.....so Nunn wins this

Calzaghe has acheived the most of any supermiddle but hes not faced top opposition at any point in his career at their peak....but hes been terrifically consistant at the level hes fought.

    Nunn 116-111

Nunn would have beaten Benn and Eubank also.

    Best super middle talent wise

    Jones
    Toney
    Nunn
    Calzaghe
    Benn

Benn over Watson, Eubank, and Collins?

Not arguing, really. It was just such a stacked era for British super midldles.

A prime Calzaghe would find a way to win.Nunns KO of Kalambay was a bit of a freak and made him look better then he was.

    Would he?

Prime Nunn has a slight edge in almost every department: speed, combination, footwork, size...

Is it just me or do most people on this board pick everyone over Calzaghe?

Tomorows thread - Calzaghe V Woody Allan

Typical Posts - Woody would demolish calzaghe, hes faster, better, stronger but it would never happen because he would never fight woody in his prime blah blah blah

What are you talking about? He's winning the poll. I haven't seen a poll go against Calzaghe on this site yet, not matter what it is.

A prime Calzhage would have gotten coldcocked.

Ya'll have romanticized Joe FAR beyond his own ability and accomplishments.:deal
