I usually rate Spinks as almost unbeatable at the weight h2h, but i do think Foster may be able to reak him down staying on him constantly, he could take a decision beating him up.

It could be viewed as absurd to think of either guy getting ko'd at 175 as both never had that reality put upon them. But wouldnt it be more of a possibility of it happening to Foster? The not great defence and massive Spinks right hand, i dont know about this fight....

I'll say 50/50 as well. If I had to pick an outcome for either fighter I'd say..

Foster TKO11 Spinks or Spinks MD Foster.. not sure what I'd go for though, I can't see even Foster having an easy time stopping Spinks though.

I lean towards Foster. Spinks was the better ALL around boxer because of his movement, but Foster wouldn't be out classed in the boxing match as he was an excellent boxer as well, on top of his dangerous power. He had an excellent jab and was good at cutting off the ring, and eventually he could catch up the Spinks IMO and land possibly late, similar to the way Qawi did Michael but i see Foster putting him away.

I see Foster timing Spinks to perfection....Spinks looking in control then Foster throwing something summoned from hell.....no way Spinks gets up!

However, if anyone can beat Prime Bob Foster post-Foster it's Spinks.

Spinks is overated at lightheavy ... a terrific fighter but not in Foster's class ... Foster by KO or wide decision ...

Nonsense. He was clearly in his class, and this fight is more or less 50/50.

I completely disagree. Foster is an all time top two or three. Spinks is second half of the top ten ...

Great thread. It's a pick'em fight at LHW.

I lean towards Spinks by close decision based on his style but I didn't see as much of Foster's work there.

First, I will play safe and say it's a 50:50 fight.

Having said that, if I have to make a choice I will go with a close decision for Spinks.

But if anyone from the LHWs is to beat Spinks, even ko him, it has to be Foster.
