Could the Spinks from the first Holmes fight or the Cooney fight defeat Wilder or at least give him a good scrap? For some reason, I think Spinks may have been able to avoid that right of Wilder's.

Spinks would have to be perfect, but I think he could pull it off. Spinks had one of the highest ring IQ's of all time. Wilder has one of the lowest ring IQ's of all time.

I think Mike would find a way to nullify that bum's right hand, and would make him look like the amateur clown that he is.

You think Spinks hit hard enough at heavy to hurt Wilder?

If Spinks fought a perfect fight then yes. He could pull off a win. But one big right hand from Wilder could end it at anytime

Yes. Why not? A nobody like Eric Molina hurt Wilder.

That's true. Sometimes, I think Spinks may have pulled it off vs a prime Cooney and while I think Wilder was better than Cooney I don't think he was as good as a young Mike Tyson.

The one question that I just can't answer, 2 fighters of the complete opposite style and physical attributes, the question is can spinks avoid the right hand for 12 rounds, and does he have the power to hurt Wilder? I'd say he does have enough power to hurt him, but I'm honestly not sure if he could avoid the right hand for 12 rounds 50/50 for me

That version of Cooney was pretty bad. Dude was there to collect a check. Nothing more

I got Spinks in this one. I really don't think much of Wilder to be honest. Spinks is to smart and to good to get caught by that right hand. Spinks would box his ears off even worse than what Fury did.

I think Spinks is on a whole different level when it comes to skill, his power also wasn’t really that bad at heavy. I think Spinks takes this one by tko, but of course there is always a chance wilder could land big right and end the fight. 9/10 times Spinks wins.

Fury put on an epic boxing clinic. Although I think that Spinks had the skill to replicate what Fury did, what he didn't have was Fury's natural super heavyweight size and height. I really don't know if Fury hit harder than Spinks at heavy. While Fury had the chin to afford a hiccup, a hiccup isn't in Spinks chin budget in this fight. But if he avoids being hit clean for 12 rounds, Spinks wins this going away.

Spinks wide decision or Wilder KO. Wilder only need land 1/2 to 3/4 clean to end it.

absolutely, but would he hit hard enough to get him out of there before he is hit. Like everyone says, it is about avoiding Wilder's punch. I would say Spinks could win by mid round knockout.
