It's really close for me at Heavyweight.
I don't see either man dominating the other so to speak, I don't see a ko either.
Both had heart plenty, even tho some may say not with Spinks ko 1 at heavy. That was just Spinks caught in the path of tornado Tyson.

I agree. And I wouldn’t be surprised if Charles and Spinks had mixed results in a multiple fight series. As for the Tyson fight, there were just too many factors working against Spinks. Age, inactivity, styles, and above all else, he didn’t even want to be in there.

Now that would be great to watch, mate.
Three or four fights between em.
Yep, Spinks had had it by then, was never getting past Mike Tyson then

Charles was a year older than Spinks of the Tyson fight when he did 23 rounds with Marciano

Charles was by far the superior fighter

    Bump.
Since these 2 are very good boxers with great IQ, I feel like this would be a cagey match, and I feel like the fighter with the better defence and who can create more bait to counter will win this, and that’s Spinks IMO.
I also feel like he has the better jab, no I don’t think he could fully rely on it here, but he’s great at making himself look available, the opponent think’s they’re safe to commit and he sneaks a counter in, so I feel he’s got tools to deal with Charles even when Charles gets beyond the jab.
Not saying Charles is basic, but I feel like Spinks is less basic and would steal the fight with his tricks, bait and counter etc.
Edit: People seem to think Spinks can be ‘got to’ by pressure, why? Because he lost to Mike Tyson? He never had an issue with any other pressure fighters, especially at LHW when the size was even.

At both weights sentiment says Charles on points. Reality tells me it could go any which way. Either could win by UD, SD, MD or even a stoppage / ko if either got a big shot in. I wouldn’t bet on this one which is why I went for a DRAW. Exactly how I felt about Wilder vs Fury 1. Just couldn’t pick a winner so went for a Draw. Actually won at the bookies for that one. Just couldn’t decide. So bet for a Draw and a rematch.

Light heavyweight, Charles probably takes the cake as he was the more explosive and technical.
    Heavyweight could go either way.

Spinks would have also gone 23rds with Marciano. I mean he went 24 with Holmes just 3yrs before.

What I find interesting is somewhere out there on film an interviewed Archie Moore favored Spinks.
