    I think Spinks wins by stoppage. Gerrie was dangerous but I think Spinks would pick him apart.

    If we took Spinks from 1985-1987 vs Coetzee of 1979 to 1983 I suppose anything could happen. Spinks was more skilled and talented but Coetzee was a solid natural heavy. He beat Dokes, Leon Spinks, Kalli Knoetze, James Tillis and drew with Pinklon Thomas. Arguably robbed against Renaldo snipes. Lasted 15 rounds in losing to John Tate. And he could box as well as punch. I’m actually not sure if Spinks would have beaten Coetzee on his best night. Maybe..

    Spinks better quality of fighter, I think he stops Coetzee in the late rounds.
