You have a point, Spinks is just a mere light heavyweight and would be a bit out of his element vs an old scale cruiser for sure.
... sorry only getting back to ya now mate. Been very busy in work ever since lunch, pah! Anyway yeah I actually agree on Ogilvy he's got as good a chance as any from 'the field' - Westwood has had a fine start and other who I see perhaps mounting a challange are Mickelson (his domain over recent years), Goosen and maybe the likes of Karlsson and Cabrera. Good to see Lyle shooting a solid first round and it seems Justin Leonard is enjoying some return to somewhere aproaching his best form of late. It'll sure be interesting. I actually play a fair bit of golf (as well as tennis too) both just down the road in Donaghadee, Co Down, NI. Still play tennis to a decent level but not quite as much as I used to so have lost a bit of an edge, my golf is the stronger of the two at the moment. Quite a bit of sport and stuff this weekend: of course I'm going to football as usual: my local team play tonight, a crowd of us will be going out down the bars tomorrow night to watch the Cotto vs Gomez fight. Also MotoGP on this weekend and the finish of the Masters. Am trying to get a round of golf fitted in for Sunday afternoon will have to see how weather holds up over here. Should be a good weekend anyway. I'm for leaving work very soon. Speak to ya later sure, mate. :good
no it just happens to be that he wasnt a very good heavy. I mean he struggled with a 35 yr old Holmes
No worries mate, and good choices. I left golf for ages but am back as of 8 months ago and on 14 at present. Been mucking round forever but just getting my driver sorted out properly (Burner TP) and would like to move down a few pegs before xmas.
It was his first ever fight at heavyweight too. But yes i think he'd struggle against the best of the best heavyweights, but truth be told Dempsey is a cruiser. A great one true.
fair enough. We are all entitled to our opinion I dont think his defense was as good as Duran but i was very very good for an agressive heavyweight.
Yeah, getting grey waiting. From memory there was an unsubstanciated claim Peralta dropped Foreman too
