Michael Spinks vs Lennox Lewis

I would really pay to see this one actually...I'd love to see how Lewis could handle the herky-jerky Spinks style. Would he be able to figure it out? Or would he try to bulldoze his way to victory?

 

I see Spinks getting himself up for a fight like this, If he got close to Lennox in a fight where Lewis wasn't having his own way all of the time, Spinks massive heart could drive some savage combinations to make Lewis doubt himself, But i do expect in the end the sheer size of Lennox and power to get to Michael, who would end up getting knocked down 3 times but getting up and being stopped.. Gallant effort with Lewis pulling it out of a bad start..

I keep remembering how Bruno was outjabbing Lennox, Then i keep remembering how Spinks tore Cooney to bits with rows and rows of fast accurate uppercuts........ It would be a hard one to call if Mike was on his A-game..

 

Michael was no puncher at heavyweight but he has a boxers chance. Evander could not land a serious shot on Evander Holyfield over 24 rounds of boxing ... he found him elusive and suffered for it ... While I clearly pick Lewis as too big and strong Spinks could use his jerky style to throw him off and possibly squeek out a decision ...

 

Spinks will be intimidated and overpowered in this one. It could end any round up until 8 or 9 IMO.
