I think that was the minimum age requirement to book a fight with Marciano.

Spinks, isn't keeping Marciano off him. Don't care how awkward Spinks is, Marciano is going to keep coming.

How about a 1953 Spinks vs. a 1986 Rocky? Does anyone consider eras??? Obviously not since no one has responded to my question on board here for 5 ******* years! Next thread please.

Marciano wasn't more skilled than Qawi and he was a hell of a lot slower both of hand and foot.

You can say that again. On this forum he is the second coming of Ali, Johnson, Louis, Liston, Frazier, Lewis, Holmes, Foreman, and the Klitchko brothers rolled into one.

One can only assume in these fantasy match ups all the other fighters have to be transported back to his time, because no modern referee with a brain wants to be sloshing about in Marciano's blood all night. After 1970 her gets stopped midway in most of his fights against the size of these guys punching that pizza face.

Seriously can you imagine Ali peppering that face with blistering shots? It took him less than 3 minutes to open up Coopers eye like a tomato, it doesn't bear thinking about what Marciano's face would look like after 6 rounds.

I can see Spinks winning this fight....but not by ko. His best bet would be to use his jab followed by his right and stay on the outside. If he elects to mix it up in close then I envision a possible tko for Marciano. Spinks could box, was somewhat unorthodox in a herky jerky pain in the a-- way and had a good jab and right. If he uses these attributes intelligently and sticks to the plan he can win and I think he'd better against Rocky.

I agree Xplosixe. This and the earlier post about Marciano not being heavy handed. F*ck me.

I think we've entered some parallel universe here...

Unless, of course, those posters were on a wind-up...

A silly thread deserves a serious answer...Rocky Marciano a powerful 185 pound grenade thrower catches up to , hurts wherever he lands on the
LH prime Michael Spinks and stops the less rugged Spinks.
