Nobody in history beats prime Jones at 175. Spinks gives as tough a challenge as any though.

Edit: ****, I voted Jones by stoppage, I meant to vote Jones by decision.

Spinks detaches Roy from consciousness around the 9th.

A prime 175lb Spinks was skilled, tricky, and awkward enough to land on RJJ more than any of the opponents Roy ever faced...and with the power Spinks possessed, he'd land a huge shot somewhere down the line and finish RJJ off imo.

Spinks would be too slow against prime RJJ. RJJ would time him faster than Spinks would time him. BUT Spinks by KO would not be inconceivable.

Very, very close fight, I have Jones edging it ever so slightly, SD/MD I think

Jones was not prime at 175.Lou DelValle out him on his keister at that weight.Spinks, one of the hardest punching lightheavyweights ever(as well as a top 5 175er)and a h2h nightmare at that weight knocks Jones out.

You guys that are taking Spinks are not sane. Jones by very easy decision is my vote but he could easily stop Spinks.

Could be argued either way...I could see both having issues with what the other brings to the table.

But Ive always sided with Spinks...He takes 2 out of 3 in a series.
