Never seen this thread done, all the Spinks-RJJ threads were contested at LHW. Now who wins this one at HW? The Spinks of Holmes I vs. the Ruiz version of Jones.
I think Jones out boxes spinks early then spinks starts to get to him with his awkwardness and used his height to his advantage he lowers the boom on him in the 11th round slightly behind on cards Spinks knocks him out violently
Michael Spinks campaigned longer at Heavyweight, and his legitimate first victory over Holmes trumps the Ruiz win by quite a margin - no matter how faded Holmes was at that time. I always felt Spinks' awkwardness would always cause trouble for Roy who relies on reflexes. Spinks was unpredictable, and didn't need to set himself to unload combination's. At Heavyweight, I just see Spinks knocking Jones out late. Spinks was a big Light Heavyweight.
Spinks would technically shut him down within a few rounds and then at the very least win a wide decision. At any point along the way, Spinks might KO him.
