Spinks comes in at whatever weight you deem appropriate. How does he fare vs the size, strength and power of Galento?

If he wanted to win by SD, how would he go about it? ;)

Spinks weathers the early storm and stops a tired Galento as he picks him off and begins to land at will.

Spinks eventually stops him but he knows he's been in a fight and he might have to get up off the canvas en route to winning.

I’d say around the same weight he was for the 1st Holmes fight, if he was early 180s, he’d have more trouble physically, but over 210lbs would be dead weight, I’d say early-mid 200lbs.

I’d say that there is something to be had to putting on some useful weight if you’re moving up a decent amount of weight, rather than just moving up from 175lbs and the only weight you keep on is the few lbs of water weight you’re not cutting anymore.

If you’re only moving up a few lbs from Flyweight to Super Flyweight, it may not be as important, but going from 175lbs to then fighting big guys, I definitely feel it’s important to actually do some lifting, as long as you still do your explosive work and don’t take muscle building steroids to the point where it gets in the way, you’ll be fine.

An example would be Spinks himself compared to Bob Foster, Foster just moved up by not cutting the weight he was cutting, Spinks actually put on useful weight.

Another example would be Holyfield, while there is speculation about certain things, he didn’t put on too much muscle, it was just enough to deal with the big men a bit better physically, whilst still maintaining his mobility.

I ran this fight through simulation.

Very close fight first 7 rounds. Even.
Spinks took the last 4 rounds of 15.
    Spinks get's a knockdown in Round 15.

    146-139 Spinks Unanimous decision Win.

Need a bit tougher tougher test for spinks.
