Michael Spinks where does he rank all time at 175

#2 his resume is hard to beat the quality of his competition in his era was the toughest in LTH history I only place Foster above and Moore just below simply because of longevity had he had a longer career at 175 he could have proved himself the GOAT as a pure 175 lb champion

 

Spinks definitely top 5

I'm going to be controversial here, and say number 9.
But I'm fully aware that I rate Spinks too low. Feel like I'm missing something.
I get the feeling that a lot of you guys followed his career. I am a tad too young to have done so. And I know I also have a bias towards the old-timers.
Educate me. Why should he jump up my rankings? Could he beat the eight above him on my list?:

You are obviously just trying to get a rise out of people by putting Kovalev ahead of these guys.

This makes me feel a bit better for allowing Kovalev to squeeze into my top 50 all time LHW (was worried I was overrating him). But top 5, I can't see it personally.

 

I don't care what rise anyone gets, the thread asked where I ranked Spinks so I put my top ten.
