I think Kovalev won the first fight. but that aside I do believe Ward is a superior fighter to Kovalev, I just choose to rank him at SMW as opposed to LHW.

 

I rate Ward better than Kovalev, I just don't rank him as a LHW

 

head to head I think he could be top 3... And it wouldn't surprise me if you put him in against some of the greats of the division if he wouldn't come out on top.

 

I think Virgil Hill is underrated. The guy had almost 20 defenses at the weight.

Kovalev is a front runner, a good on top fighter, but he lacks balls when things don't go his way.imo.
