Michael Sprott a G. Attacks corrupt German ref

now hes going to be charged with assault and perhaps have with paycheck withheld.

but its ok because hes fighting boxing corruption..........

Yeah, I have mixed feelings about this. That stoppage was BOGUS, no question, but you can't have fighters taking matters into their own hands - literally - when they get screwed like this.

 

Sprott was getting battered, he should've taken the loss like a man.

Agreed.Nice that the guy's prepared to make a stand for the good of the sport.

 

I understand why he lost it and that was a disgracefull stoppage. Classy apology sfter but you cant do that!! Hope the punishment is not to severe

 

Sprott was wobbled on more than one occasion before the KD, he was eating the heavier shots through the first 4 rounds.

 

the main takeaway from this: you don't want to be standing looking all spaced out waving your hands in the air at the end of the count if you are ready to continue

 

bad stoppage but he was clearly hurt

 

I know emotions run high, and the stoppage may have been premature, but the ref might have seen somthing he didn't like. The fighters lives are in the resfs hands.

Hope the ref accepts Sprotts apology and Michael can continue with his career as one of the best gatekeeprs or our times.

 

Stoppage was bad but i have seen much worse,the knock down was heavy and he wobbled into the corner,understandable he was annoyed but you cant touch the ref,it looks worse aswell when its a heavyweight putting his hand on the ref..

 

Ref should of bekoned him forward to see how steady he was, Sprott was still against the ropes when the Ref stopped it.
