Michael Sprott will take on former WBO heavyweight champion Lamon Brewster in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany on March 14

The 34 year-old from Reading was to have faced Francesco Pianeta for the European Union heavyweight title but the Italian was forced to pull out injured. Sprott’s trainer Jim Evans confirmed to SecondsOut that he has accepted the fight for Sprott and is awaiting the contract. The bout will be an eight rounder

The Saurland Event promoted card will be headlined by Arthur Abraham, who will be defending his IBF middleweight title against Lajun Simon

    On Setanta?

If Lamon is ready then it should be brutal. I thought Brewster was going to fight Rogan in an eliminator. This is a good chance for Rogan to see what stage of his career Brewster is at.

I didn't know Brewster was touted against Rogan?

This is a decent fight for setanta to have on the undercard, with it being two recognisable names, shame it is clashing with the khan PPV.

The Brit forum loves Sprott, Euro level gatekeeper and KO'er of Audley

Another fight on that card that is perhaps worth a watch. That it clashes with the Khan bill doesn't bother me either, won't be buying it anyway.

    :good

Another happy Setanta punter. Abraham gets matched light in a weak division but is good to watch too.

Good luck to Sprott in another European away trip.

Will listen to the Barrera fight on the radio, ain't paying to see that on PPV.

Eight rounds. Interesting. Brewster will be "relentless" I imagine.

I hope Sprott can win it but i think it will be hard for him.

I think Sprott wins this. He is a fine man at ending other fighters dreams.
