i think briggs would have won in say 2006-2007 but from what ive seen since he came back hes not even the same fighter and lets face it he was never great was he . hes won three fights in the first round against lossing records since his return

so now i say briggs close decision

 

They're not that poor though. As for padded records, well take Eddie Chambers for example, he went over to Germany and completely dominated formerly unbeaten European prospect Alex Dimitrenko and before that he beat Sam Peter and was in the ring with Povetkin. This is a far higher level than Audley Harrison's ever been at.

So you reckon that Audley would put up a better fight against Wladimir Klitschko than Eddie Chambers?

 

he would get knocked the **** out but he would atleast try to win


so in result no , in effort and performance yes without a doubt

 

This in my eyes makes him a more credible challenger than some of the Klits opponents, even though I agree pretty much all of them would beat Harrison, at least Audley would try and wont just be there to lose without getting too badly hurt.

Surely everyone would rather watch a fight where both want to win.

 

You say that but Audley hasn't tried in every fight he's had so I dont know what you're basing your view on.

By all means, look fwd to Aud/Haye...enjoy the build up, the fact its an all british affair, but I think its stupid trying to discredit guys like Arreola, Chambers ect, and using Audley to do it. Doesn't make sense.

 

I'm overly looking forward to the fight tbh, I much rather Haye be fighting a Klit or even Adamek or atleast a top 10 fighter but I am certain Audley will give it a go and actually try to win.

I only actually mentioned Kevin Johnson because that fight was a ****ing joke and I would rather watch Haye Harrison than shite like that again, but if you enjoy that type of fight then that is your prerogative.

 

Is this the same Audley Harrison we're talking about? Audley freezes in the ring and usually throws timid, weak punches. Really can't understand why anyone thinks he'd put up a decent fight against either Klitschko or even David Haye. Some people also seem to think that guys like Chambers and Arreola simply "didn't try". That's completely not true, they were just beaten by better boxers.

 

I didn't enjoy the fight. I just think these guys are a class above Audley.

Well, I know they are.
