Wallisch has been handed a nice opportunity here. hammer is a Gatekeeper who loses to the top guns but can handle himself vs lesser Talent.
hammer is ranked 13 by boxrec, meaning if Wallisch were to win, he´d make a huge leap.
personally, i dont know what to make of Wallisch. he only had About 30 Amateur bouts and didnt compete internationally. as a pro, he showed promise but never really went beyond the prospect stage.
he only has 19 fights and earned a Reputation as being almost impossible to work with, having gone through just About every promoter in Germany.

anyway, at 33, he knows this is it. he has the Talent to beat hammer, but he is just way to unproven for me to have any confidence in him. can he take a Punch?? who knows.

still, were he to win (especially if he wins impressively), he could become another serious prospect/fringe contender.

I'm going with Hammer. Hammer will take early and late rounds because he has good stamina and good skill set. Wallisch have puncher's chance.

Hammer lives in Hamburg, the fight is being held in Hamburg, if its close, do the math.

Wallisch always impressed me in the ring but he doesn’t take the sport seriously enough. I think Hammer wins. Wallisch wasted his talents

What exactly has Wallisch to offer?

He is 33 years old. He had a short amateur career at domestic level. German HW amateur scene is pretty weak btw. He has decent power but he is a HW, considering that his power is average. He only fought bums so far, not a single opponent so far was impressive as they were glass chinned journeymen most of the time.

Hammer was in the ring with some elite fighters like Povetkin or Fury, he beat names like Price, Teper or Kevin Johnson (in a better fashion than Andy Ruiz Jr for example). He has experience and boxing skills and can easily go 10-12 rounds while Wallisch only fought once in his career more than 10 rounds.

Hammer will expose Wallisch badly here. Hammer UD.

hard to argue your Points...……..im totally with you. on paper, this only has one winner. but Wallisch is not untalented. he is big and moves well for his size. and he is REAL german, meaning he is not some russian posing as a german. so if he can get any Kind of Momentum (such as any Kind of win over hammer would bring), the financial rewards would be huge.
and hammer certainly can be beaten. if Wallisch can pull of the upset here, this would make Wallisch an interesting Opponent for world ranked german Tom schwarz...….Setting up what could amount to an all german world title eliminator.

I think Hammer's a bit underrated. Clear top 20 guy, fringe top 15. I see Hammer winning comfortably, especially at home. Good matchup though.

My prediction of Fury winning came off and was denied by pathetic judging. Maybe now you can stop being so pretentious and bringing up past failed predictions because you got this one so badly wrong like the pudding you are. It’s sport, predictions either fail or come true. Don’t act like the fountain of boxing knowledge when you’re just a jumped up little shithouse.
