They all look destined for at least domestic contention.... I just find SN stuff boring perhaps if VIP had them I might be a bit more interested.
He's ******ed if he thinks he can get away with sticking his chin out all the time. Then again that is the result of inbreeding.
There's no need to go off on Cromer, to be fair. Opinions about fighting style and skill (or lack thereof) are great but to tar all of the supporters with the same brush is below the belt. We're there to support home grown talent, whether you agree or not I personally believe having a group of avid supporters can only be beneficial to the boys, which is all we really care about. Of course we want to see them win, but we also want to see them progress skill-wise. If our being there and being noisy helps them at all, then that's how we'll continue. No offence intended, by the way. Just thought I'd point out that mouthing off about the supporters only comes across as sour grapes, as you clearly have nothing decent to point out about the fighters themselves.
there were clearly allot of good ponts about michael walsh and his brothers fighting styles brought up in this post. his attitude in that fight was awful in my opinion and thats obviously shared by many others. was he really expecting to be fighting mayweather, he saw the guy was 2-28 or something like that. A fighter as skilled as Khan never show boated that badly when he was fighting bums, so Michael bloody walsh shouldnt either. from what i have seen his fans, i dont really like. i dont like the mitchell brothers fans either, but like both fighters. i dont like the walsh brothers or there fans, there jsut a gymic that nobody will care about soon, infact who cares already.
I was responding to the underhand comments about the fans made previously, there was no need for me to defend the fighters. Michael does what he needs to do and it gets him the win. You're welcome to your opinion about the style of fighting and skill, of course, but there's no need for derogatory comments about the fans. We're a harmless bunch, if a little loud. We're also clearly a gimmick that has an effect for the boys themselves, which as I previously stated is all we care about. It's about time people got over the fans and concentrated on the fighting. Stop using the 'gimmick' as leverage against the boys. To add to the above, you don't know a single one of us personally so I'd suggest you save your dislike for use when you're a little less ignorant about the target.
:good I'm sure you're right. I'm sure, too, that you'd relish the opportunity to tell the whole bunch to their faces at the next match. Boy, what fun.
I'm sure he's aware of general opinion. What he does works for him, though. As for showing a 'modicum of ability', hasn't he done so already? He didn't win all three of his fights so far by accident. Cromer is on the North Norfolk coast of England, a lovely little place if you like 'Scumbag Chavs', apparently
Being Norfolk born-and-bred (not in-bred in this case!), I feel it is worth adding my two-penneth to this interesting thread. The Walsh brothers are based in Cromer, Norfolk but are actually from Rochdale in Lancashire. Their large family moved to the area in the 1980's and 1990's and have a reputation for violence. A youth football player of the year do at the 'famous' Cromer Pier was spoilt one year by an violent fight between family members in the bar during the interval. Half of the audience left after that - shocked, saddened and sickened that such a fun, rewarding event could be spoilt in such a manner. Each of them has a rap sheet longer than their reach. The fact that Michael was showboating doesn't surprise in the slightest. That they have turned professional is very pleasing in one respect: at least they will now be able to channel their wealth of aggression in an arena where it can be contained. Anything they get up to now out of the ring will be in the public eye. They may get a member of their family to do their business now - time will tell. As for the self-proclaimed 'Farmy Army', as they like to call themselves (Norfolk, farming...geddit?), they are, on-the-whole a harmless bunch. Some may be clueless but then isn't this the case with members of these types of fanboy and girl groups in all sports? What's amusing (inevitable?) is how a number of them would not have anything to do with the Walshs' before they started on the road to the bigtime. Contrary to what I've said above, I wish them every success in the future. For a county famous for Herbie Hide, Jon Thaxton, Norwich City and Martin Brundle, Norfolk is starved of sporting success.
you get chavs everywhere mate, not just norfolk. i got beat up by 3 guys outside wembley arena on saturday, must have been 5000 cage rage fans that just walked past didnt help me out aswell.
