Kalambay in a close but unanimous decision.

Hard to disagree with that. Watson could easily take a close decision as well, but its hard to say, seems to me that he had either just reached his peak or was extremely close to it before his career was cut short. Not to sound like a dick but if he was American his legacy would be far more glorified than it is and the ceiling of what he could have achieved would be blown way out of proportion.

It would look like MCallum vs Watson except Kalambay wouldn't stop him.

You're probably right, but we'd also be paying more attention to his losses too.

I've got him beating Watson by a clear UD.

Kalambay was a level above Watson, Benn, Eubank, and Collins. Not much else to say.

Sumbu was a difficult puzzle for anyone. A craftsman with his jab and a cool customer. Seemed like no one ever got into a rhythm against him. Should be in the Hall of Fame IMO.

He boxes his way to a smooth, clear but competitive decision against Watson, who — like all the others — never quite figures him out nor finds anything that will consistently work against him.
