Dm because he was very very good from a textbook point of view. He was accurate with respectable power, speed and defence plus he didn't make many mistakes.

His first loss against gonzalez was very very close but he perhaps should have lost earlier against rocchigiani.

    h2h Jirov no doubt - a cw/hw compared 2 a lhw/cw .
Each was only stopped 1ce .
Dariusz had belts @ 2 weights compared 2 jirov's 1 but this is a h2h comparison . Jirov would have beaten Dariusz and every1 that beat dariusz . dariusz wouldn't have beaten toney @ 190 though , and do u c him lasting with joe mesi ? i think orlin norris would have stopped him . and btw , jirov stopped julio cesar gonzalez @ d amateurs so another 1 4u .

Michalczewski was better in a pound for pound sense, he was just never marketed to Western Europe or the USA like Jirov was.

Comparing prime divisionally i'd say dm was harder to beat at lhw than jirov was at cw.

But putting both in the cw division and jirov probably gets the edge here as at nod point he was very close to being the best cw in the world which is something dm never came close to doing.
