I saw this fight on Versus last night and was pleasntly surprised. Great fight by both men. Gonzales fought from the fourth round on with a cut that I'm fairly certain would stop a fight today. I will say I thought Carbajal pulled it out seven rounds to five, but I don't not disagree with the decision. I do disagree with the judge who gave it 117-113 Gonzales. For the first half of the fight Gonzales was using uneffective aggression while Carbajal found a home with the right hand. Around the seventh round a subtle shift started in favor of Gonzales, which by the eight round would see him control the last fourth of the fight.

Very good fight, any other thoughts on this or these two fighters? It's made me want to find more of their fights.
