Plus anyone knows that Moorer was VERY drained to make the lhw limit, this was matter of money.. The cruiserweight is the poor class ot is why he fought only at lhw and hw And schmeling fought at "hw" at 188 pounds. Moorer was clearly bigger than that, at least a natural 205 pounder. He looked very good even at 220 without any fat. And this is because he had the frame to carry it well. Michel Moorer was bigger than Max schmeling
Wich durable Hw did Shavers stop? Would you say that Schmeling did harder than Shavers too? Your argument is ridiculous. End of the debate
So you're saying that Moorer was more powerful, but lacked ability to land these powerful shots? Because Shavers definitely hit harder than Schmeling, but he was far worse at catching opponents with power punchers than Max.
Moorer did hurt Holyfield badly a guy with better Chin than any rival of Schmeling. Enough proof to rate very highly his power. He did hurt old Foreman too( who had iron chin)
But he didn't stop him, besides it's highly arguable if he had better chin than Risko, Stribling or Hamas. Or Louis for that matter, who was incredibly hard to stop.
Moorer isn't Maloney. On research Jack Sharkey lost should have 15 official losses, and was down at least 15 times in his career. He couldn't punch hard either. Moorer would beat him. Outside of Schmeling, Walcott, and Charles, ( Louis should be 2-3 here ) Louis didn't face many fine boxers who can also punch. Moorer would probably get upset along the way to one of the more crude punchers Louis fought in Baer, Baer, Galento, or Simon. Overall, I'd say Morrer would do pretty well vs. Louis competition, losing maybe 2 more before he either lost focus or aged.
Argument? There is no answer for a guy who said this type of garbage. "Is debatable that Holyfield had better chin than Louis (and a group of tomato cans)" simply laughable
They are not tomato cans, they were top tier contenders. Hamas was 1st ranked contender when Schmeling beat him and Stribling fight gave Max credentials for a HW champion. Both of them were stopped only once - by Schemling. Louis was stopped only twice in his career - once by Max and the other one in his last fight against Rocky when he was old and unhealthy. That's the same number as Holyfield. Maybe Evander took one punch better, but he wasn't harder to stop. How many times was Louis even close to being stopped?
If he took a better punch then HE HAS BETTER CHIN. and there is no maybe here. HOLYFIELD TOOK CLEARLY A BETTER PUNCH THAN LOUIS.
The low blows, cleary. He was writhing an pain before and after Dempsey's sucker punch, and was gesturing to below his belt while down. It was Golota level stuff, with multiple low blows, not even borderline.
