Lewis by early KO, mid rounds KO, late KO or UD. Basically I can't see how Moorer can win this fight even if Lewis walks onto a punch. I don't think Moorer had nearly the power at heavyweight as he did at lightheavyweight, where he was a wrecking machine.

Lewis outboxes him until he finishes him in about 7. Lewis has almost every advantage you can name. He is the better boxer then Moorer and can win by points or go right at him.

Interesting fight. Lennox Lewis never boxed a southpaw in a contested fight, although he did spar with them and came up with the typically profound Lewis observation that they are "hard to box". Yes, Lennox, they are.

On the other hand, Moorer never faced anything like the combination of size, speed, power and skill that Lewis presented. Moorer matched up very well stylistically with Holyfield, I think, mainly because Holyfield lacked the right tools to be truly effective against a southpaw.

Lewis, on the other hand, had a good toolset to deal with a leftie: a jab that was continuous but which he didn't committ much to which would neutralize Moorer's right jab; a straight right hand with one punch KO power (Lewis preferred the overhand right, but as Mike Weaver and Michael Grant found out, he had a crisp straight right which was like a laser-guided rocket); an unpredictable and devastating left hook that could come out of nowhere; finally and perhaps most importantly, Lewis had a good patient demeanour that wouldn't get frustrated by the southpaw angles.

I think this would look a bit like the Morrison fight, with Lewis methodically breaking the smaller puncher down while taking almost no risks. After Lewis bounced Moorer of the canvas a few times, the ref would likely step in to stop a meaninglessly one-sided contest between rounds five and eight.
