Moorer may've finished his career with a reputation as fairly uninspired champion but he sure was red hot when he was 'on'... [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e5Unz7Mlf6s[/ame] :good

one things for certain , ron lyle hits 10 times harder than moorer , moorers teeing off haymakers on an old foreman and cant put him over , what would a young george have done to moorer , thinking 1st round ko.
Moorer was a monster at 175lbs & did reasonably well as a heavy. He certainly didn't get dishearted in the Cooper fight. Showed real heart in that one. Was giving Foreman a beating but got caught flush. That result probably had more to do with his lack of focus than anything. I don't think he ever got over that loss.
Moorer v Cooper and Moorer v Stewart are two of the more entertaining heavyweight clashes you will ever see! In those 8 - 9 rounds he deleivered more entertainment than many fighters have in their entire careers! he was OK in my book!
