    Hey Tits lets look at my alledged trolling and see your amusing answers. Remember the fight would have to be at SMW.

    Form line first -
    Nunn lost to Rocchigiani who lost to Eubank who Calzaghe beat
    Nunn lost to Toney who lost to Jones who Calzaghe beat
    Nunn lost to Liles who lost to Mitchell who Calzaghe beat

    Who they lost to -
    Calzaghe lost to nobody. 46-0 the greatest SMW ever and winner of 24 world title fights, won WBO WBC WBA IBF Ring SMW titles and Ring LHW title
    Nunn lost to overated Toney who lost to bums, Nunn lost to 21-13-2 S Little :lol:, Nunn lost to Liles also (see above).
    Now who at SMW did Nunn beat? Arguably his biggest SMW win was V Cordoba and Nunn needed 2 attempts to look convincing to do it :patsch. Cordoba isnt even at the same level as R Woodhall who Calzaghe beat and Cordoba is arguably Nunns best SMW victory

    At MW who did better/has a better resume -
    Well Calzaghe never fought at that weight so you cant compare

    At SMW Calzaghes resume pisses all over Nunns no question

    At LHW Calzaghes 2 fights at LHW are more impressive than all of Nunns at LHW.

    Call me a Boxrec troll if you like, but thats just what someone writes when they have been schooled.
    Facts are facts and you have been presented with some facts

    Now why dont you tell me who Toney or Nunn beat at SMW or LHW that is so much better than what Calzaghe did. This will be good

    :lol::lol::lol:

    So let's get this straight, just to be clear on Brit Silllyfanny's silly opinion - Joe Calzaghe could've been The Welsh Omar Sheika had only been u.s based, despite a fighter like Sheika not being good enough to carry his jockstrap.

    Or, if he was even more daring, The Welsh Arturo Gatti!!! :rofl:rofl:rofl:patsch:patsch:patsch

    Hey Bailey, I think you misunderstand the thread here.

    If someone asks who would win in a fight between Nunn and Calzaghe, you cannot come to an informed answer by listing the events that took place in their careers, comparing certain opponents, quoting boxrec, or saying A beat B so B beats C.

    If someone asks who would win in a fight between Nunn and Calzaghe, you must think about what you have seen from Nunn and Calzaghe in their best fights (as a hypothetical match-up refers to both men at their best), and how those fighters would match up physically and stylistically, and then consider other relevant factors like how they performed against guys with a similar style to their hypothetical opponent (where possible).

    You seem to think you have achieved some sort of triumph on this thread, but I think what you have actually done is fail to understand a question, and offer an irrelevant answer.

    Unless this was a catchweight matchup (which the thread starter doesn't have the imagination to think of), it's a non starter - Nunn was in his prime at Middleweight. Calzaghe never boxed there. End of discussion.

    True.

    Then again, this forum gets all fired up for a thread about Calzaghe vs Ray Leonard, so you shouldn't be surprised by this thread.

    Read all of what I wrote rather than just picking out the bits you want.
    The sentence below
    ''It gives a form line.
    This content is protected
    by any stretch, but with Calzaghe nobody was able to better him. In Nunns case he was beaten by many who couldnt hang with Calzaghe''

    Still you are trying to give one example. I gave three.
    H2H = Head to Head
    P4P = Pound for Pound

    I would say its you who doesnt understand the meanings when you look at the details ive shot you down with.
    Please tell me who Nunn beat and what he did so well at SMW or LHW to make you think he could beat Calzaghe. I notice you have ducked that question :patsch.

    Nunn lost to Rocchigiani who lost to Eubank who Calzaghe beat
    Nunn lost to Toney who lost to Jones who Calzaghe beat
    Nunn lost to Liles who lost to Mitchell who Calzaghe beat

    Thats 3 examples on one fighter compared to one you gave.
    Ill give you a 4th Nunn lost to 21-13-2 S Little :lol:, who lost to Liles who lost to Mitchell who Calzaghe beat

    I have given you 4 examples
    Now what examples and how many do YOU have of fighters that Lopez has beaten that beat Salido.
    Salido beat Mtagwa in 5 rounds. The same Mtagwa that nearly KOd Lopez - Form line :lol:

    :lol: Your question is what proves you don't understand how h2h works! H2H isn't about saying "well Nunn beat Kalambay in 1 round so he could beat Calzaghe in less than 1 round", it's about considering how the two men, Nunn and Calzaghe, would match up physically and stylistically.

    I expect another long reply, but it's clear you don't quite get this mate.

    :huh Bailey, these are true and you act like I'm bashing your hero which I'm not.

    Here I say he would've beaten Nunn. I have also said that Nunn tested himself more such as fighting Barkley(I know not great but gave a very good account of himself against Nunn) & Toney for instance. Calzaghe's only top wins against those who aren't sucky or old men are to Kessler & Lacy. Should've done much more than that with all of his wins. His resume is very thin and he retired after facing a shot Jones when he could've beaten Dawson.
